How can I minimize the MB when I am scanning a 26 page document. 

I am using HP Desktop 4155 all in one printer.

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

The easier method is to simply scan at a lower resolution.

 

Generally, given a decent quality of the original document,  when you scan at 72 dpi / 75 dpi, documents do well on most monitors and can be printed without an appreciable decline in quality.

 

What else?

Compress the final file using software meant to create a smaller package of the file.

The following example is not a document -- the sample image does illustrate the difference in the results when scanning at different resolutions.

 

Regardless, the condition and density of the original content -- PDF or Image -- impacts the results.
