Product: HP-8710

When scanning a doc, my HP-8620 (at home) offers me the choice of saving the scan as either "PDF Black" or "PDF Color."  When scanning a doc at work, my HP-8710 doesn't offer me the same choices.  It defaults to saving the scan as "PDF Color."  Unfortunately some of my more recent scans (in color) exceed the 25MB file size limitation as an attachment to my work e-mail.  Is it possible to change the default setting on my HP-8710 to save the scan as "PDF Black?"  If so, how is this accomplished?  Thanks!
