Don't worry it will be fixed easily. As sometime it happened that inspite of the scanner on this message is showing. As in the previous week I was scanning important documents of instapro guidance and getting it free. So the scanner was giving me the same massage. The main issue caused due to the old version of the scanner driver. When we update our driver so the issue got fixed. So try to update your scanner driver.

As sometime it happened. In the previous week I was also receiving the same message when I was scanning the document of instapro. But after alot of wating time I uninstall the driver and installed it again. After that the scanner start proper working. So you could also follow this method may be it also work for you.
