Product: HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4102fdw Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The printer ist about 1 year old.  There is no guarantee on it anymore.

First, it has been a sporadic error. Meanwhile, the scanner lamp remains dark when scanning.

So the copy is completely black. The scanner carriage itself moves. When using the ADF, the lamp also

stays dark. It doesn't depend on whether it's in the stand-alone - modus or whether it's controlled by the PC.

Has anyone had the same problem ? I'm an office mechanical engineer and I could fix an open circuit myself.

But maybe, the cause for the misfunction could be a defective flat ribbon cable to the lamp ?

Before I start to investigate I'd like to hear from someone who has had the same problem.
