Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We recently purchased a MFP M479fdw - I have searched all of the settings and cannot see that it offers continuous scanning (in my naivety I assumed all scanners offered this) - Does anyone know if this a function this machine has (and if so, how do i turn this option on as once the system is done scanning all pages in the tray it just sends to PC) or is there no way to scan a set a large documents in sections without having to combine them later through adobe etc?

 

I know if i scan on the glass I can add pages - but this will not help with large documents.

 

Thank you for any help - my knowledge is basic (as you can probably tell!)

HP Recommended

You can check for a feature called job build or prompt for more pages,but I believe on the Pro models you do not have the option of adding more pages to a job. HP Enterprise products offer that feature.
