Helo,

I have an HP Laserjet MFP M140we which has the scanning feature.

I'm using HP Smart app on my Android phone to scan documents using the printer. But it shows the following error:

Feature Unavailable: This feature is not supported by the selected printer. Connect to a different printer to use this feature.

 

I tried it on two phones with Android versions 9 and 12

 

Can you please help me fix this issue? (I've already tried restarting the app, the printer and my phone)

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried updating the HP smart app to the latest version?
  • What is the Android OS version of your devices?
  • Have you tried scanning from a different application or PC?
