Hi @Robolicious,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To scan photos from your HP ENVY Photo 8025e printer to your iMac and then send them to Apple Photos, you can follow these steps:

Scan Photos to Computer:

  • Place the photo(s) you want to scan on the scanner glass or in the automatic document feeder (if available).
  • On your iMac, open the HP Easy Scan software. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the App Store.
  • Select your HP ENVY Photo 8025e printer from the list of available scanners.
  • Choose the scan settings such as color, resolution, and file format.
  • Click on the "Scan" button to start scanning.

Save Scanned Photos:

  • After the scan is complete, the scanned photos will appear in the HP Easy Scan window.
  • Click on the "Save" button to save the scanned photos to a location on your iMac. You can choose a folder where you can easily find the scanned photos later.

Import Photos to Apple Photos:

  • Open the Apple Photos app on your iMac.
  • Click on "File" in the menu bar and select "Import."
  • Navigate to the folder where you saved the scanned photos and select them.
  • Click on the "Review for Import" button.
  • In the next window, you can add titles, tags, and select the destination album for the photos.
  • Click on the "Import All New Photos" button to import the scanned photos into Apple Photos.

Organize and Share Photos:

  • Once the photos are imported into Apple Photos, you can organize them into albums and share them with others.

If you encounter any issues while scanning or importing photos, refer to the HP Easy Scan documentation or Apple Photos help for troubleshooting steps.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
