Product: HP Envy 6020
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I have recently purchased an Envy 6020.  The printer prints and scans properly when using the HP Smart app and will print properly from all other applications.  However, when I try to use the Apple Image Capture app to scan I get the error message "Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345)".  I would like the ability to use Image Capture and not just HP Smart.  I am using a MacBook Air with OS BigSur 11.2.3 and connecting to the printer over a wi-fi network. I have already tried resetting my print system with no success and have also removed and re-installed the printer after resetting it to the factory default.  Has anybody any other suggestions?  Or do I just have to accept that I cannot scan with Image Capture.
