I have an HP color laserjet MFP M477fdw that used to scan to my network using an older PC. The PC died in December and I purchased an HP Omen 25L. I have just recently tried to scan to my network with this new PC, but it is not working. I have enabled sharing of the scanning folder on my new PC. When I try running HP Print and Scan Doctor, it finds the printer, but then I get a message that a later version of the printer software is available. When I clicked to Install Software, I get a message Download Failed. I went directly to the HP software page and downloaded the latest version and installed it. But, I am still unable to get past the error message in HP Print and Scan doctor that says The HP CLJM477 was not found.
