HP pavilion laptop game
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When using Windows 10- 64 and using  HP software program "HP Smart " for scanning I can't find where it saved it to by default.  I never set up a file for scanned docs to be saved to.  Does anybody know the default file there in????.  I tried online support which said " documents/ scanned documents" and I don't see a folder for scanned docs under Documents.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE SCANNED DOCUMENTS IN HP SOFTWARE PROGRAM" HP SMART" ARE IN.  NOT SCANNED DOCUMENTS IN WINDOWS IT SELF BUT THIS SPECIFIC PROGRAM.  THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!

@Dav27, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

The default save location for scanned documents is the Documents folder and the Pictures library for scanned photos. Save the scan in the default location or browse to a different folder.

  1. Selecting Scan options in the HP Smart app

  2. In the Save or Share window, change the file name, file type, and compression settings, and then click Save.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
