We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

The scan was working a few days ago.  There was a recent windows update

Which app are you using to scan?

Check the destination folder that you have set on the app you are using to scan.

Search for it manually/

You may also rename the scanned file before saving it.

Hi,

 

I  am using the scanner on the HP deskjet ink advantage 3835 printer.

Everything was fine two weeks ago.

There was a recent change to the computer by Microsoft.  There was another one today.  I have not checked the scan again.

Also, now the scan does not scan the document property--sometimes part of the copy is blank.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.  The problem persisted.

The scan dr from HP said everything is great!  The virtual agent is worthless.  It is impossible to chat with someone at HP--that option apparently is a fiction.

Part of the problem may be with HP smart.  

I will try your other suggestions.

Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

If you are not able to make copies from the scanner glass, this is a hardware issue.

Check the ink levels in the cartridges and replace any low/empty ink cartridges.

Are you able to print fine?
