Hi @Petalks,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet Pro printer keeps asking you to select a folder to save the scanned document even after you've already selected one, there might be a few reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Check Folder Permissions: Make sure that the folder you're trying to save the scanned documents to has the appropriate permissions set. Ensure that your user account has the necessary read and write permissions for that folder.

Try a Different Folder: Sometimes, there may be an issue with the specific folder you're trying to save to. Try selecting a different folder to see if the problem persists. This can help determine if the issue is related to a specific folder or a more general problem.

Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues with the printer's software.

Update Printer Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the printer's firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues.

Reset Printer Settings: If the problem persists, try resetting the printer settings to their default values. You can usually find an option to reset the printer settings in the printer's menu or settings interface.

Check for Software Updates: Make sure that your printer's scanning software is up to date. Check for any available updates and install them if necessary.

Reinstall Printer Software: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software on your computer. This can sometimes fix software-related issues that may be causing the problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
