officejet pro 8030

 Printer is connected to house wifi

I've disconnected and restart wifi no change. Printing works fine over wifi. Fax diagnostics check OK.

I've called the fax number from my cell and know it is not busy. I can receive but not send due to busy signal

Hi,

Please click on Fax > Setup > Preferences and locate the Dial Prefix toggle, ensure it is set to Off (0) and not wrongly configured with a Dial Prefix.

 

Also, look for Dial Type and ensure it is set to Tone and not to Pulse.

I have the same problem, I checked both steps you said they're both OK. I'm still having the issue it's not sending to certain numbers.
