Hello,

My printer/scanner (8610) works like a champ, but upon updating the drivers, there is no longer an option to use the document feeder, and it doesn't recognize it when documents are loaded.  The scanner still works fine, but it's as if the printer no longer has a feeder, none of the drivers or the HP Easy Scan software acts like the document feeder exists any more.

thanks!

Hi @homesik

A warm welcome to HP Community!

Changing the scanner source as ADF(automatic document feeder) may resolve the issue. The following step's should help you change the scanner source to ADF using HP Easy scan:

1.) Open HP Easy Scan.

2.) Click Presets and select Edit Settings.

3.) Click Source and select Document Feeder.

4.) Click Done and then click Scan

Let me know how it goes!

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Have a great day!
