HP Deskjet 3512
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Deskjet 3512 that is stuck in "Printing Alignment Page".  I am unable to access the menu of the printer because this message is stuck on the screen.  I have brand new official HP Ink cartridges installed.  Can someone please tell me how to perform a factory reset on this printer?  Please keep in mind the menu is not accessible because "Printing Alignment Page" is stuck on the screen display. Thanks!

@Zotech,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I would like to inform you that there are no options to perform a factory reset on the printer. However, we can perform a network restore on the printer.

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.

1.With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

2.Remove USB cable, if present.

3.Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

4.Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

5.Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Follow the below steps to perform a network restore.

Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for five seconds.

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
