Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Scanned first time second email doesn’t exist after 6 hours get it on again go to scan gives internal processing error and completely shuts down and reboots.  It does not need any updates. Returning if it can mot be resolved in 48 hours

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'd like to know the following-

  • Are you able to scan from the computer?
  • What is the exact error message when you try to scan to email?
  • What is the Operating System installed ono your computer?

I can scan from my computer but it needs to work the way is intended.   To give an error and completely shut down and restart is an issue with unit itself.  
The error was there was an internal error and it shut down and rebooted itself.  I made sure the software in the unit was up to date which it was.  
There was obviously and issue with the unit and before my 30 day return window was up I returned it.  

Again the unit has been returned. Not sure U will be buying anymore HP products since my almost $700 unit had issues. Thank you
