dear, I will have to connect my office pro 7740 to my all-in-one pc for direct printing and scanning to pc.  which cable do I use?

this pc has: female standard usb-A ports 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 and 1 ethernet port.  thks in advance for your advice.  Kgds Ronald

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Use a standard USB cable to connect the printer to the PC.

 

In order to Scan to Computer, please ensure that the FULL featured software is installed,

 

This resource will show you how, just select USB instead of wireless.

(Do not plug in the USB until the Software prompts you to do so!)

 

Connect Wirelessly, Download and Install Software

 

Here's how to enable Scan to Computer.

Hello "Greenturtle", thanks for your reply.  I will keep you informed once the printer and pc are connected and the SW is installed.  just bought a standard USB M 2.0 to 3.0
