Product: Z240
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When we run programs (Visual Basic code modules) that work on his older system, using Access 2007, it goes into lala land.  We are wondering if reinstalling Access 2007 or all of Office 2007 would possibly fix the problem.  We think he got this computer, which is a new Z240, with Office 2007 already installed.  Is that plausible?  A consultant may have installed it if that is not possible.  Does HP still provide Access 2007, or a way to refresh an Office 2007 installation?  The repair feature provided by Access does not solve the problem.

Welcome to HP Support Forum. Microsoft Office 2007 is a product from Microsoft. There are few hiccups when running VBA on new machines. The following discussions are for Excel but should be applicable for Access

Since it is a Microsoft product, please check with Microsoft. I believe HP only supports this kind of pre-installed software during the first 3 months of the life of a machine.
