Hi there found out that im suppose to be getting some free software with my laptop, and a year warranty

 

I was planning to upgrade the RAM of my computer and went through the specification and at the bottom i got to whats inlcuded and said that i should get a years manufacturers gaurentee covering parts and labour which im not as worried about as i have covered, but im interested in the free software any idea why this wasnt included in the box?

 

Any help would be great, as i bought it brand new from Currys/ PC world and nothing else but the user manual, hp contact number, laptop and charger came.

previously was opened by Currys PC/World who made a recovery file but dont think they would steal software.

Hi,

 

Software programs are PRE-INSTALLED, no CD or DVD. Please check your computer, actually only has 2 software.

Hi there

 

I had to install the Mcafee myself, netflix was preinstalled on my computer. i thought maybe i was entitled to free subscriptions possibly? if not this is fine but getting free stuff would be nice haha.

(As well not really bothered about the netflix, more really about the anti virus software.)
