HP Spectre x360 - 13-ac002na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

The cursor wants to be in the right handside of the screen (middle) by default intermittently. When i try and scroll it defaults back to there, and the laptop feels practically unusable sometimes. I have tried various different settings, but nothing has worked. Just over a month ago I bought this laptop, and the problem has persisted.

No software or driver changes, internet connection is wireless. It happens on all browsers.

Hi @Fiona4

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your concern and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the cursor moves to the right-hand side of the screen automatically.

I’d love to help!

I would like to inform you that this issue usually occurs when there is a virus or a malware on your computer.

I recommend you to run a full scan on your computer and make sure there are no virus or malware. For malware, you can also use malware bite and run that on your computer.

If the issue persists, then follow the steps in the below article.
