I have a brand new (hasn’t been set up/used) sprocket 3x4 printer that I’m trying to connect to the app. I got the sprocket a couple years ago, but it’s still new. The printers bluetooth connects to my phone just fine, but app can’t find the printer. It appeared once when searching but won’t connect to it again and I can’t finish the pairing process. I can’t even update it as I’ve never connected to the printer to begin with. Please help I don’t know what to do.

That’s frustrating, especially since the printer is brand new! Since Bluetooth connects but the app doesn’t recognize the printer, here are some steps to troubleshoot:
1. Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Remove the paper cover.
- Locate the Reset button (usually near the charging port).
- Use a paperclip or pin to press and hold the reset button until the charging indicator light turns off.
- Turn the printer back on and try connecting again.
2. Enable Location & Bluetooth Permissions
- Open Settings > Apps > HP Sprocket on your phone.
- Ensure Location and Bluetooth permissions are enabled.
- Restart the app and try pairing again.
3. Forget & Reconnect the Printer
- Open Bluetooth settings on your phone.
- Forget the HP Sprocket 3x4 device.
- Restart your phone and reconnect the printer.
4. Try a Different Device
- If possible, try connecting the printer to another phone or tablet.
- If it works on another device, the issue may be app-related.
