I'm having quite a few issues with my Sprocket Select. I've had it for over a year, and it's quite literally never worked. I tried booting it up again today to see if maybe I'd have better luck to no avail.

Firstly, it doesn't print anything. No matter what I send off to print, it just spits out blank paper.

Secondly, if it's not plugged in, it won't stay on. Despite the app saying it's fully charged.

Thirdly, I keep getting prompted to install a firmware update, but after several minutes of waiting, I get an error that says "Couldn't install. Oops, something went wrong when we tried updating your sprocket." The "try again" button does not work.

Lastly, when I tried to add my product to my profile by entering the serial number, I got the error that the serial number is invalid, despite being copy and pasted from my product profile in the HP sprocket app.

I want so badly for this device to work considering it and all the paper is not cheap. I've tried resetting the device through the pinhole button inside near the paper AND through holding the power button until the light flashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried it sending the firmware update on different devices (my ipad vs. my iphone), and I've tried forgetting the device and repairing it (both through my phones bluetooth settings and through the sprocket app itself).

Also worth mentioning, that when I was troubleshooting this device last year, HP decided to send me a new one because it must've been faulty. What I'm working with now is the replacement they sent me that also has never worked despite hours of troubleshooting.

I'm honestly having a hard time believing I purchased anything other than an overpriced paperweight.

Hello
Please first confirm that the photo paper is loaded correctly. Photo paper has a front and back side. If loaded upside down, the printer will output blank pages with no image.
After ruling out incorrect paper loading, it is recommended that you use the blue calibration card included with the photo paper package to recalibrate the paper type and print head. After calibration, please test the print quality again to verify the issue.
