Hi @JakeUK26,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Sprocket is printing vertical lines and you’ve already tried the common fixes like cleaning the roller, performing a reset, and running the blue calibration card multiple times. Let’s go through the next steps to check what could be causing this.

Confirm the type and condition of ZINK paper
Make sure you are using genuine HP ZINK paper only.
Check that the blue calibration card was placed at the bottom of the stack with the barcode facing down.

Inspect the prints for pattern consistency
Look at whether the vertical lines appear in the same position on every print.
Consistent lines usually indicate a printhead heating element issue rather than dirt or calibration.

Check printer temperature and environment
Ensure the Sprocket is used in a cool, dry environment (not immediately after charging or heavy use).
Overheating can cause permanent line artifacts in ZINK printing.

Update the HP Sprocket app and firmware
Open the HP Sprocket app and make sure it is fully up to date.
If a firmware update is available, install it and test printing again.

Perform a full power reset
Turn off the Sprocket and disconnect it from the charger.
Leave it powered off for at least 10 minutes, then turn it back on and print a test photo.

Test with a different pack of ZINK paper
If possible, try a brand-new, sealed pack of HP ZINK paper.
Paper that has been exposed to heat or humidity can cause line defects.

I hope this helps.
