Hello. I am having trouble connecting my HP sprocket device to my iPhone via Bluetooth. I have fully charged the sprocket, added paper, powered on, ensured Bluetooth is enabled on my iPhone, downloaded the app, and it does not work. I went a step further to ensure my iPhone is updated, as well as resetting the sprocket device using push pin and the reset button located on the inside of the device. I then restarted both the sprocket and my iPhone and still- the sprocket does not pop up as a printer in the app. I am afraid there is a problem with the Bluetooth.

If you are experiencing trouble connecting your HP Sprocket to your iPhone via Bluetooth, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Steps to Re-pair with HP Sprocket

Restart Both Devices:

  • Restart your iPhone and HP Sprocket device.

Reset HP Sprocket Device:

  • Remove the Paper Cover. Locate the pin-hole near the Paper Tray.
  • Insert a straight pin into the hole to press the Reset Button until the printer turns off.
  • Restart the HP Sprocket.

Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled:

  • Open iPhone Settings and select Bluetooth.
  • Make sure Bluetooth is on, then select the printer from the listed devices.

Forget and Re-pair the Device:

  • In your iPhone’s Bluetooth settings, find the HP Sprocket and choose "Forget This Device".
  • Re-pair the iPhone with the HP Sprocket by selecting it again from the list of available Bluetooth devices.

Use HP Sprocket App:

  • Open the HP Sprocket app and follow in-app setup instructions. Select "Setup" on the first launch or access setup instructions from the Help & How To menu.

Hope this helps!
