Non-existant paper jam

HP Recommended
HP Photosmart Plus B210 series
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My printer has suddenly decided it wont print until I clear a paper jam that's not there.  The only error message I get is to clear the paper jam and press OK, which I can't do as there isn't a paper jam to start with. I access my printer wirelessly but still get the message if I try to print direct from the printer.

Please help!!

Hi @karenbruse69,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are getting the paper jam error with your HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One Printer even after removing the jammed paper.

This could be a hardware issue with the unit.

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.

And here are a few steps in the link: Paper Jam

If the issue still persists, please contact HP phone support from this link: www.hp.com/contacthp
You may select the country and type the product# of the unit and then follow the on-screen instructions to contact HP phone support.

You have a good day ahead.

Hi there

Yes I keep getting the paper jam message but there isn't a paper jam at all. The printer pucks up the sheet of paper as if to print then stops giving the false paper jam message.

Very frustrating to say the least ☺
