Printing Over Perfs

HP Recommended
Sprocket Studio 3MP72A
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I just received a Sprocket Studio. On my first print, the picture printed on and above the first perf about 1/4 inch.  Is there any way to frame the picture so this doesn't happen and the picture remains within the constraints of the photo paper?

Thanks for your help!

@WillCat

I have gone through your Post and I would like to help

Please ensure the Sprocket has the latest Firmware.

  1. If you are using the optional HP Sprocket Studio Power Bank, disconnect it, and then connect the power cord to your printer and a wall outlet.

    Connecting the power cord to the printer

  2. Turn on the printer, and then make sure your mobile device is connected to the Internet.

  3. On your mobile device, open the HP sprocket app.

  4. Tap the Menu icon , and then tap sprocket.

  5. Tap Manage Printers, make sure your Sprocket is selected, and then tap Printer Settings.

  6. In Printer Settings, look for a firmware upgrade.

    • If a firmware upgrade displays, tap Get Firmware Upgrade, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update, and then send a print job. If the print quality is still unacceptable, continue to the next step.

    • If a firmware upgrade option does not display, the firmware is up-to-date. Continue to the next step.

If the issue persists please flow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/hk-en/product/hp-sprocket-studio-series/23061093/model/23061094/document/c062...
