Hi @MB-Dover,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Sprocket printer is producing vertical white lines on the printed output, it could be due to various factors. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to address the issue.

  • Clean the print head: Use the cleaning card that came with the printer or a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to gently clean the print head. Make sure the printer is turned off while doing this.
  • Check the photo paper: Ensure that you are using HP Sprocket photo paper or a compatible brand. Check if the paper is damaged, wrinkled, or dirty. If so, replace it with a fresh pack.
  • Calibrate the printer: Open the HP Sprocket app on your mobile device and go to the "Menu" or "Settings" section. Look for the option to calibrate the printer and follow the on-screen instructions. This can help align the print head and resolve print quality issues.
  • Update the firmware: Ensure that your HP Sprocket printer has the latest firmware installed. Connect your printer to a mobile device with the Sprocket app and check for any available firmware updates. Follow the prompts to update if necessary.
  • Restart and reset: Turn off your HP Sprocket printer, disconnect it from any power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, reconnect the printer and turn it back on. Additionally, you can try performing a factory reset on the printer if the issue persists. Refer to the printer's user manual for instructions on how to reset it.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
