Hello, I have a sprocket select printer, when I have tried to charge it is not doing so, It came on briefly but did not charge past 9% and then although it was plugged in I could see it dropped to 5%, I left it over night but its not turning on.  I have tried different cables and plugs which work with other devices.  I have tried to contact support but the serial number is not accepted, I have tried variations of letters and numbers.  Is there a way to contact support please?  Thanks

Hi @Vicki01,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Sprocket Select charging issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check the Charging Port:

  • Visually inspect the charger port for any debris or damage. You can use a soft brush or compressed air to clean any dust or particles.

Use Original Accessories:

  • Make sure you are using the original charging cable and adapter that came with the HP Sprocket Select. Sometimes third-party cables and adapters might cause charging issues.

Reset the Printer:

  • If possible, perform a reset of the printer. For many devices, holding the power button for a certain time can reset the device. Check the HP support site for specific instructions on resetting the HP Sprocket Select.

Battery Concerns:

  • If the battery does not seem to hold a charge, it could be due to a faulty battery. Consider contacting HP support for assistance, possibly requesting a battery replacement.

I hope this helps.
