I was using my sprocket plus printer with no issues. Then when I plugged it in to charge the light keeps blinking red and green. I tried pushing the reset button with a paper clip. Nothing happens. I tried holding down the power button. The light turns solid red then nothing happens. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Now it won’t connect to the printer. Probably because the printer won’t turn on. I left it on the charge overnight and no improvement. I am using the original cord and tried multiple outlets.

@Lesliepec, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your Sprocket plus Charging problems!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I know how frustrating it must be when your Sprocket Plus isn't cooperating, but let’s try a few things to get it back up and running.
Perform a Hard Reset:
Make sure the printer is unplugged.
Press and hold the reset button (using a paper clip) for about 10-15 seconds.
While still holding the reset button, press and hold the power button for another 10 seconds.
Release both buttons and try turning it on again.
Check the Battery & Charging Status:
Since the LED is blinking red and green, it might indicate a charging issue.
Try charging the printer for at least an hour using a different micro-USB cable (even though you're using the original, it's worth testing another).
If possible, try charging from a laptop USB port instead of a wall adapter.
Verify the Power Button Response:
When you press and hold the power button, does the red light stay on for a while, or does it turn off immediately?
Try pressing it for 5-10 seconds and see if the light changes or if there are any beeping sounds.
Bluetooth & App Connection:
Since you reinstalled the app, let’s ensure Bluetooth is working properly.
Is the printer showing up at all in your phone’s Bluetooth settings (even if it won’t connect)?
If not, try pairing it with a different device to see if it appears.
A Couple of Questions to Narrow It Down:
🔹 Before this issue, did you notice if the printer was getting warm or overheating while charging?
🔹 When you plug it in, does the charging LED stay solid red at any point, or does it immediately start blinking red/green?
🔹 If you press the power button twice quickly, does the printer respond in any way?
Let me know what happens after trying these steps! We’ll figure this out together. 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
