It is the Hp sprocket 200. Basically, every time I printed a photo it would come out with these large white streaks. I tried to clean it using the instructional video by removing a part of the paper to reveal the adhesive then printing it to clean the roller. Instead, the paper got stuck around the roller and now is impossible to remove so now my printer is completely broken. I’ve sent multiple emails to the HP help team about this with no reply yet. I’m so disappointed because I followed the instructions given by a staff member and through a HP published video and it ended up breaking my printer completely.

Hi @Emilyarsen ,

Thank you for your reply

I understand you're dealing with a couple of issues with your HP Sprocket 200. The large white streaks in your prints and the paper getting stuck around the roller suggest that there might be problems with the printer’s internal components or the paper itself.

Here’s a plan to address both issues:

White Streaks on Prints:

  • Print Head or Roller Issues: White streaks can result from problems with the print head or roller. Even though you cleaned the roller, there might still be residue affecting the print quality. Since your printer is updated and you've already tried cleaning it, another possibility is that the print head or cartridge might be misaligned or defective.
  • Paper Quality: Ensure you’re using the correct type of photo paper for the Sprocket 200. If the paper quality is poor or not compatible, it can cause printing issues.

Paper Stuck Around the Roller:

  • Remove Stuck Paper: Since the paper is stuck, you should carefully try to remove it by gently turning the rollers and pulling the paper out. Use a pair of tweezers if necessary but be cautious not to damage any parts.
  • Inspect the Printer: Look for any jammed paper or debris that could be causing issues. Make sure no small bits of paper are left inside.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
