Won’t turn on

HP Recommended

At 1st my sprocket wouldn’t contact to my phone, so I reset it and now it won’t turn on at all!

when I plug it in there’s a solid red light on for about 10 seconds and then goes off but that’s all it does.

what can I do?

@Lwelsh

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

  • The Sprocket might have turned off or the battery might need to be charged. Use the HP sprocket app to check the battery status, and then adjust the Auto Off setting. Press and hold the Power button to turn on the Sprocket, and then open the HP sprocket app. Tap the Menu icon, and then tap sprocket.

Step 1: Turn on the Sprocket and check battery status

Step 2: Make sure the Sprocket has photo paper in the input tray

Step 3: Confirm mobile device settings

Step 4: Reset your mobile device and Sprocket

Step 5: Upgrade the Sprocket firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
