Hi @Jeanne011,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Clearing a paper jam in your HP Sprocket Studio can be done by following these steps.
- Power Off the Printer: Make sure to turn off your HP Sprocket Studio before attempting to clear the paper jam.
- Open the Top Cover: Lift the top cover of the printer to access the cartridge carrier and the paper path.
- Remove the Cartridge: Take out the cartridge from the printer.
- Remove the Paper: Gently pull the jammed paper out of the roller. Be careful not to tear the paper, and make sure to remove all of it.
- Check for Remaining Paper: Inspect the paper path and the roller for any remaining bits of paper. Ensure that there are no torn pieces left.
- Reload the Cartridge: Once you've cleared the paper jam, reinsert the cartridge back into the printer.
- Close the Top Cover: Close the top cover securely.
- Power On the Printer: Turn the printer back on and check if the error is resolved.
If the problem persists, you may want to consult the HP Sprocket Studio user manual for specific instructions related to paper jams.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Alden4, thanks for your response. I didn’t explain well enough, I actually didn’t have a paper jam, I had a Zink cartridge jam. The ink film got wound up on the roller. I did manage to clear it by taking the paper tray off and exposing the roller. I carefully removed the “Zink film”. I lost the zink cartridge, of course and the machine works if I hand feed one paper at a time so I guess the roller is damaged. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Thanks!
