@bree47685563643, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Sprocket!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Since your HP Sprocket 200 hasn’t been used for a long time and isn’t turning on or charging, the battery may be deeply discharged. Let’s try these troubleshooting steps to revive it.

Use a Different Charger & Cable

  • Ensure you’re using a 5V/1A charger (avoid fast chargers as they may not work).
  • Try a different USB cable & adapter.
  • Plug it into a wall outlet instead of a laptop/PC USB port.

If no lights appear after 30 minutes, move to the next step.

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds.
  2. Release and try turning it on again.

If still unresponsive, proceed to the next step.

Charge for an Extended Period

  • Leave the Sprocket plugged in for at least 2-3 hours.
  • Even if no lights turn on, some deeply discharged batteries take longer to show charging indicators.

After charging, try turning it on again.

Reset the Printer

  1. Locate the reset pinhole near the charging port.
  2. Use a paperclip to press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
  3. Release and try turning it on again.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
