Can I use Mouse Z3700 without USB Dongle because my MacBook doesn't have USB PORT

Hi @Ritesh1755

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the challenge of connecting your Mouse Z3700 to a MacBook without a USB port. The Mouse Z3700 uses a USB dongle for wireless connectivity, which means it relies on that receiver to communicate with your computer.

Unfortunately:

The Mouse Z3700 cannot connect via Bluetooth or any other wireless method without its USB dongle.

Since your MacBook lacks a USB-A port, the dongle cannot be plugged in directly.

Possible Solutions:

Use a USB-C to USB-A Adapter

Purchase a reliable USB-C to USB-A adapter or hub.

Plug the mouse’s USB dongle into the adapter, then connect the adapter to your MacBook’s USB-C port.

This is the simplest and most cost-effective way to use your existing mouse.

Consider a Bluetooth Mouse

If you prefer a dongle-free experience, consider using a Bluetooth mouse that pairs directly with your MacBook.

Many wireless mice are available with native Bluetooth support, eliminating the need for a USB receiver.
