@Mary_1999, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY 6052 All-In-One Printer is showing "Internet is disconnected", it usually means the printer is not connected to your Wi-Fi network. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get it connected:
Restart Devices
- Restart your printer, router, and computer or mobile device.
- Wait for the router to fully power up before proceeding.
Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
You can use the HP Smart app or the printer control panel:
Option A: Using HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Download the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
- Open the app and tap “+” to add a new printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Option B: Using Printer Control Panel
- On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button (📶) and the Cancel button (❌) together for 5 seconds. This resets the wireless settings.
- Press the Wireless button again to start Wi-Fi setup mode (the light should blink).
- On your computer or phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the printer’s temporary network (e.g., HP-Setup-XXXX).
- Open a browser and go to http://192.168.223.1 to access the printer’s setup page.
- Select your home Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Confirm Connection
- Once connected, the wireless light on the printer should stop blinking and stay solid.
- You can also print a Wireless Network Test Report from the printer to confirm.
Update Firmware (Optional but Recommended)
- Use the HP Smart app or go to HP Software & Driver Downloads to check for firmware updates.
