The latest version of the Support Assistance does not have option to remove device. I looked and was unable to find anything other than reporting the problem in the Support Assistant feedback option: Bottom left icon.
Something like the following might jar the developers into fixing the problem.

i can't see your picture
note, it cannot be removed, the computer, on which the software is installed if one is offline here
You can remove it if you are on your hp account, so the device is removed from the whole hp site normally

Wiki How has this a the solution. I works.
Via Version 9.xxx
Find your name button in the top right corner and click it. This should expose a drop-down menu you'll need.
Select the "View profile" link - in the drop-down list. This should be the top entry in the list.
Scroll down until you see the "Your Device Overview". It's not going to be very far down.
Locate the device you want to remove from your profile. You'll be given lots of details including your device's personalized name (if you have one set), product and serial numbers, followed by recommended actions - if they are needed, followed directly by an "x" button - which controls the removal.
Click the x to the device you want to remove.
Click the orange "Remove this device" button to the right of the "Cancel" button, just below the reason for removal.
Cheers - thanks for looking.
