Hi @Lucky1971,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP TouchPad tablet (webOS device) is showing a server error. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Restart the tablet
Press and hold the Power button and select Restart.
Temporary system or network glitches can sometimes cause server-related errors.

Check the Wi-Fi connection
Open Settings → Wi-Fi and confirm the tablet is connected to a stable network.
Try disconnecting and reconnecting to Wi-Fi, or connect to a different network if available.

Verify date and time settings
Go to Settings → Date & Time and make sure they are correct.
An incorrect system time can cause webOS services to fail to connect to servers.

Clear browser or app cache (if the error appears in the browser or App Catalog)
Open the browser app, go to Preferences, and clear browsing data.
Cached data can sometimes trigger server communication errors.

Restart in recovery mode (webOS reset)
Press and hold Power and Home (center button) together until the device restarts.
This refreshes the operating environment without deleting personal data.

Perform a system reset (last step)
Go to Device Info → Reset Options → Restart or Full Erase (only if necessary).
A full reset reinstalls the webOS system environment and can resolve persistent server errors.

I hope this helps.
