HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 (952D1AV)

Dear HP Support Team,

I recently purchased an HP laptop in August 2025, and at the time of purchase, I was informed that it includes a 1-year warranty.

However, when I checked the warranty status on your official website, it shows the warranty period as:

  • Start Date: 26/06/2024

  • End Date: 26/07/2025

This appears to be incorrect, as the warranty start date is showing over a year before my actual purchase date, which is not possible. I purchased this device recently and was told the warranty would be valid from the date of purchase, not from a previous date.

I kindly request you to look into this and update the warranty information to reflect the correct purchase date and applicable warranty duration.

For verification, I can provide:

  • Proof of purchase / Invoice

  • Serial Number: 5CD425H1M3

  • Any other details required

Please assist me in correcting this issue as soon as possible, as I may need to access warranty support.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,
Saksham Soni

Hi:

This forum is a peer to peer forum.

We do not work for or represent HP.

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

So the longer the time elapses from assembly date to the purchase date, the less time remains on the warranty.

Please contact HP customer service beginning at the link below and submit a support request to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted to the date you purchased the notebook.
