Auto detect can find a product, but there is no warranty checkup or drivers scan. Looks like some serial numbers no longer exists on HP side.
For some older serial numbers there is newer device detected.
Is HP reusing and deleting older serial numbers?
MXL44210S0 EliteDeskt that is no longer found.
CZC3157H02 Old ProDesk that is now recognized as HP Z2.

How can they be deleting the S/N's if they still show up in the PartSurfer database?
If they were deleted, they wouldn't show up there either.
What happens sometimes is the same S/N shows up for two different model PC's because of the way the year of manufacture serial numbers are only one character.
That means every 10 years there are miniscule amount of PC's that could have the same S/N.
For example the second S/N you posted:
If you enter the S/N in the PartSurfer database you have to select one of two PC's...a Z2 SFF G9 which was made 10 years after the 6300 Pro you have during the same week of the year.
As to why neither PC shows up when entering the S/N in the warranty check website, you will have to contact HP customer service as this is a peer to peer forum and we don't work for or represent HP.
Only the Z2 G9 shows up when I check the S/N in the warranty check database.
I speculate that they use a different method on the warranty check database and delete duplicate serial numbers for PC's that are 10 or more years old, since there wouldn't be any 10 year old PC's still under warranty.
The solution IMHO would be for HP to use 11 character serial numbers with two digit manufacturing year dates instead of 10 characters with a one digit manufacturing year.
That way the S/N's could only be duplicated once in a hundred years instead of every 10.

The two PC's show up in the HP part surfer database:
The first one is a HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF
HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Small Form Factor PC Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
The second one is a HP Compaq Pro 6300 SFF
