How do I find the version of my firmware?

Good day,

 

Using the ALPHA key, type in VERSION or go to CAT (RightShift SYMB) and scroll and select VERSION (typing ALPHA V will take you to the commands starting with V). Do not use VER, it will only give the hardware version.

 

In RPN mode:

2: "Version HP50-C
Revision #2.15"
1: "Copyright HP 2009"

 

In ALG mode:

:VERSION

{"Version HP50-C Revi

 

Press the down arrow to see the whole text:

{ "Version HP50-C
Revision #2.15"
"Copyright HP 2009"}

 

Whatever is reported after "Revision #" is the firmware version of your HP-50g (2.15 in the example above).

 

Version 2.15 is the latest version to date.
