Product: HP Elite x2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello all! I am having an issue with an HP Elite x2 tablet and the active pen that it came with. The spring popped out of the pen and was lost, so I made another one out of a bit of wire. The pen will turn on and connect to the tablet, but it will not work. Bluetooth settings says it is paired, then connected and then it disconnects. I can get the pen to go into pairing mode, but it will not stay connected or work on the tablet.
The tablet itself is under warranty, but HP's Claim service does not seem to honor warrantying out just the pen. Can anyone give me some advice on getting this pen to work? Thanks!
