HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I wished to update my BIOS, as the current version that I am using now (Insyde F.77) is dated 18/12/2015 and of course HP Supports has given me the link to the newer version. So I downloaded it, and proceed to attempt to update the BIOS, until I stuck at this:

Error 1.png

I'm a good human being and I understand that there is another thread in this forum that addressed the same issue, but there was no response on what measures they have taken to bypass the issue and whether they succeed or not. Since I'm not sure how to proceed from this, I humbly ask for everyone's help to solve my problem. If it is possible, I would like to do the BIOS update without having to get a flash USB drive for it. I just don't understand what is the issue that is preventing me from doing it the normal way. Please assist.

Thank you.

@ZaraValeria,

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I understand that you are unable to update BIOS.

Could you please help me with the exact Product number.

In the meantime, Use the HP document and check for the updates on your PC, if there is any update go ahead and update it.

Let me know how it goes.

Have a great day.

Cheers!
