Product: HP Stream Laptop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there! I've been dealing with an issue in my Stream Laptop related to the battery and the windows bar. It displays the battery icon with an "X" on it and it does not work without the charger (battery has never been removed and the Laptop has never been dropped). I know that I should reinstall Windows to fix these issues (it would be the easiest way) but it has a 25 GB storage capacity,  which is not enough to hold the pending updates, so I thought I could use an external HD, but I'd need a Windows key. This Laptop was birthday gift back on 2018 and I haven't used it in 6 months. Now that I turned it on, I found these issues. Can you guys tell me how to proceed?
