Hi Elaine, thank you for replying. 🙂

 

Please try to get to the UEFI menu using the below steps:

  • Power on the laptop.
  • Tap the Esc key repeatedly. This will display a menu.
  • From that menu select F2 key. Hit F2 once and it should load the UEFI hardware menu.

If that does not help then the other way to run a display troubleshooter is by using the HP Support Assistant software in Windows. Please watch this video to launch the "Display Issue Troubleshooting." At 0:49 seconds of the video, you can see the Diagnostic and Tools option.

 

Hope this works out. But in case it doesn't then you need to contact HP phone support to explore the service options.
