If you take notes. The Note 8 is the one to get. Has a pen. S9 is the newest one but no pen. The Note 9 will be out in 9 months. I'm waiting to see the new Flexible screen phones that Will come late 2018 or early 2019.

I got an Elite X3 preowned for a few hundred quid. I like windows phone despite its lack of support and I like earning Xbox achievements even though the graphics performance is surprisingly underwhelming...
But yeah this isn't a phone I'd recommend to most people unless they really know that they're buying into a dead OS. I for one am happy enough for the time being but time's ticking on and Microsoft will have to relaunch it or officially shut it down.
