Hello,

I have a dc7700 and I’ll buy a few days ago a Q6600, yesterday I tried to see how it work but when I start my pc I can see just it (photo attached) is it because my bios is not updated?

Hi:

 

No quad core processor will work in the dc7700 regardless of what BIOS version it has.

 

Below is the link to the dc7700 quickspecs which lists the supported processors...

The E6700 processor is the Conroe processor, not the Wolfdale one.
