I would like to know if my daughter downloaded my printer app (HP Envy 5052) to her phone would she be able to print from my printer located in my home? She lives about a mile from me. We both have AT&T as service providers. My phone service carrier is Metro PCS, hers is Boost Mobile. It would really help if we can find a way.

I cannot answer the question about whether any specific Android mobile printer option works.

The printer does support ePrint.

ePrint setup provides your printer with its own email address.

Start Web Services on the printer.

You set up the HP Smart / HP Connected ePrint options.

You add your daughter's email address as an allowed sender.

Daughter can then email allowed content directly to the printer.

There are some restrictions about type of content:  Don't use Bcc, (Cc allowed), certain attachments are allowed...

For example, excerpted from  HP ePrint Email Job Does Not Print

  • Photos: Photo files must be GIF, JPG, PNG, BMP, or TIFF, and have a horizontal and vertical resolution of 100 pixels or higher.
  • Documents: Document files must be PDF, HTML, TXT, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Excel. ePrint cannot print digitally signed, encrypted, or password protected documents.
