Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
As I understand the car camcorder isn't working as it should,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Have you checked the user manual for details?
(Click here to view the same, if you haven't)
If you've gone through all the settings and couldn't find the information you need,
I recommend you create a backup of the videos recorded so far (if any) and reset the camcorder:
Since the camcorder fails to function normally due to unknown causes, push the power switch and verify the memory card is in the removable state; wait for 10 seconds and push the power switch again to restart the camcorder.
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.

Hey guys! I had my f870g installed yesterday, along with a small rear cam that was in the box (an Amazon offer I believe). The cam appears to be working ok and the pic quality is very good. My one issue however, is that the rear cam appears to be reversed (as in the images behind me are left to right where they ought to be right to left. Any ideas how i can fix it please?
