Hello. I have had my HP Pavillon x2 detatchable a while now and last night it died and I obviously charged it as I went to turn it back on today it won't turn back on. Any solutions for this problem? Thank you.

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I understand that you have an HP Pavilion X2 Detachable laptop and it does not power on anymore. The laptop was charged after use and still, it will not power on. I'd like to assist you with this case.

I would like to know if any changes (hardware or software updates) that may have taken place on the laptop after which this issue may have started. Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:

  • Disconnect the charger from the laptop.
  • Press and hold the laptop's power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the charger. Connect the charger to a good know wall outlet.
  • Try to power it on.

If the issue persists then please review the steps mentioned under "The computer does not receive power (no noise or lights)" from this link: http://hp.care/2k9lie7

Hope this information helps. Let me know how it goes. All the best! 🙂
