Product: HP Envy x360
How do I detach the screen from the keyboard to use the screen as tablet? I did when purchased laptop but have not
used it since. I was told there was a key on keyboard but none found.

You can't remove the keyboard on x369 machines. When turn the keyboard to the back, machine will automatically disable keyboard and you can use on-screen keyboard.
The x2 class machines have 2 parts and you can detach the keyboard
